On the second day of the tour, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel to start the day's adventure. The itinerary includes visits to the following iconic landmarks:
- Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, a historic site built on the former Norodom palace.
- War Remnants Museum, showcasing a comprehensive display of the Indochina wars.
- Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office, beautiful structures that reflect the French Colonial era.
- Jade Emperor Pagoda, a serene place with fascinating stories behind each detail.
After exploring the city, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Cu Chi, about 1.5 hours away. Upon arrival, you will watch a brief propaganda video explaining how the tunnels were used during the war. Your guide will also show you traps used in the jungles and lead you to experience crawling through a tunnel.
For an additional fee, you can try shooting at the range. The tour concludes with a taste of Cu Chi boiled tapioca, offering a moment to reflect on the resilience of the people defending their homeland.
At the end of the day, you will be driven back to Ho Chi Minh city and dropped off at your hotel. Dinner is on your own, and you will spend the night at the hotel.
